How The Forge Calculator Works
Understanding the mechanics behind ore combinations and forging probabilities
Ore Count & Complexity
The total number of ores determines weapon complexity unlocked:
- âĸ3 ores â Dagger/Helmet only (100%)
- âĸ4-5 ores â Simple weapons unlock (Dagger 86%, Straight Sword 14%)
- âĸ10+ ores â Medium complexity weapons become available
- âĸ20+ ores â All weapons unlocked, distribution evens out
Multiplier System
Each ore has a multiplier (0.1x - 11x) that affects the final weapon stats:
- âĸWeighted Average: Final multiplier = sum(ore multiplier à ore count) / total ores
- âĸHigher Multiplier: Stronger base stats for weapons/armor
- âĸRarity Matters: Legendary/Mythical ores have much higher multipliers
Ore Traits
Special ores provide unique traits when composition reaches thresholds:
- âĸActivation: Trait activates when ore âĨ10% of composition
- âĸScaling: Effect scales linearly from 10% to 30% (maximum)
- âĸExamples: Fireite (Burn chance), Eye Ore (+Damage, -HP), Obsidian (+Defense)
Probability Calculation
Uses exponential decay model to determine weapon type chances:
- âĸExponential Decay: P(weapon) â e^(-decay à complexity)
- âĸDecay Rate: Inversely proportional to ore count (fewer ores = steeper decay)
- âĸModifiers: High rarity/multiplier ores shift probability toward complex weapons
- âĸMonte Carlo: Based on 10,000 iteration simulation
World Selection
Different worlds have different rarity drop rates and modifiers:
- âĸWorld 1: Common-Rare ores, lower base stats
- âĸWorld 2: Rare-Legendary ores, medium-high stats
- âĸWorld 3: Epic-Mythical ores, highest stats potential
How to Use The Forge Calculator
Follow these simple steps to optimize your forging strategy
Select Mode & World
Choose whether you're forging a weapon or armor, and select your world (1, 2, or 3). Different worlds have different ore availability and rarity distributions.
đĄ Tip: Higher worlds (2-3) have access to legendary and mythical ores with much higher multipliers.
Add Ores to Your Combination
Click on ore cards to add them to your recipe. You can add multiple of the same ore by clicking repeatedly. The number badge shows your current count.
đĄ Tips:
- âĸ Use the search bar to quickly find specific ores
- âĸ Filter by rarity to focus on legendary/mythical ores
- âĸ Mix different rarities for balanced stats
- âĸ Maximum 4 different ore types recommended
Review Predictions
Check the three result panels:
View your current combination and remove unwanted ores
See the most likely weapon type and rarity
View probability distribution for all weapon types
Optimize Your Recipe
Adjust your ore combination to achieve desired results:
For Specific Weapon Type:
- âĸ Want Dagger? Use exactly 3 ores
- âĸ Want complex weapons? Use 20+ ores
- âĸ Adjust ore count to shift probability distribution
For Higher Stats:
- âĸ Use high multiplier ores (Ethereal Light 11x, Void Star 10x)
- âĸ Prioritize legendary and mythical rarities
- âĸ Avoid mixing low and high tier ores (dilution effect)
For Special Traits:
- âĸ Add 10%+ of trait ores (e.g., Fireite for burn)
- âĸ Scale up to 30% for maximum trait effect
- âĸ Check "Predicted Weapon" for active traits
Execute in Game
Once satisfied with your combination:
- Gather the required ores in Roblox game "The Forge"
- Go to the forge/cauldron
- Add ores in the exact quantities calculated
- Start forging and cross your fingers! đ¤
â ī¸ Remember: The calculator provides estimates based on known mechanics. Actual results may vary due to RNG (random number generation). Use the probabilities as a guide, not a guarantee.
